What do I do when it's time to recycle the phone directories?
Once you've received your yellow pages telephone directory, bring your duplicates or old directories to the approved collection points. You may also be able to recycle your directories through the local Boy Scouts of America. Local troops will be collecting directories to fulfill requirements toward earning the World Conservation Award.
Can I only recycle certain types of yellow pages phone directories?
Berry is proud to sponsor this unique phone directory recycling program. Not only will we recycle our own outdated phone directories, but we're happy to accept outdated and new directories from other manufacturers.
Can I bring other materials to the collection point?
While we encourage you to recycle all possible materials, for this program we can only accept directories. Please recycle other materials in accordance with your local recycling services.
Can I take my directories to other recycling locations or place them in my recycling bin at home?
Not every recycler accepts every type of paper. Berry has partnered with a specialty recycler in your community, so it is important to bring your directories to the identified collection point to ensure it's recycled properly.
